Wood carving/whittling is an excellent hobby and there is a strong, generous and vibrant carving community in the area. Hone your skills to create wonderful gifts for friends and family. The class will focus on carving safety, basic cuts and opportunities to create projects with a variety of woods/techniques. Bring your own wood carving supplies, or you may purchase supplies on site for an additional $25. Please bring a carving knife and glove to the class (can be purchased from the Instructor as well)

Students under 16 must be accompanied by parent/adult also taking the class (Ages 12+).  Class size limited.


OTHER  OPPORTUNITIES IN THE DULUTH AREA

“Carve S’more” on Fourth Fridays from September-May

These sessions are a great way to advance your carving skills in a fun and relaxing environment. Coffee is available and expect occasional freebie carving projects. Instructor: $2 per session, with payment due only when you attend; pre-enrollment is not required.

Sessions are held on the Fourth Friday of months September-May from 10-noon at the Proctor Area Community Center, Proctor, MN.
